Luke Monaghan is an Emmy® award-winning director, born in West London and residing in Los Angeles. Luke started his career directing music videos, with an innate understanding of story-telling and how to impact an audience, working with some of this generation’s most prominent artists, such as A$AP Rocky, Disclosure, Flatbush Zombies and Sam Smith. Luke’s videos with constant collaborator Sam Smith have garnered well over 4 billion views on YouTube and counting, with Too Good at Goodbyes and I’m Not The Only One being among the most watched music videos of all time on the platform.

Luke’s eye for storytelling, and love of sports, led him to direct HBO’s Fighting Chance, a film about Mexican boxer Ray Beltran, which collected the Emmy® award for ‘Outstanding Short Sports Documentary’ in 2017 and ESPN’s Why We Fight which was nominated at the Emmy® Awards for ‘Outstanding Sports Series’ in 2019. Luke’s rise in the documentary space has complimented his vast experience directing commercials. Luke has collaborated with global agencies such as 72 & Sunny, W&K and Anomaly, for notable clients Apple, Nike, Beats, NFL and Levi’s.

Luke currently has his debut feature-length film slated for release in Summer 2025, as well as several non-scripted projects in development and production as a director and producer.
